yeah.......the coroner apparently did not venture a guess on that as it’s not normally his job.

What he said was homicide, which only means that it was not suicide or natural causes, in his opinion.

I would venture a guess that he made up his mind as to the homicide when he became convinced that because of the lack of seatbelt restraints, the death was caused by a broken neck/back due to being thrown against the side of the van while being transported.

My understanding is that this would be difficult but not impossible to occur, because there was very little room in the back of the van to have gained enough momentum to accomplish the severity of the injury.

That coupled with the witness info about the guy throwing himself about in the van, leads me to believe that the victim may have contributed greatly to his own injury.

So much of what is reported changes from day to day. The witness reportedly recanted. This is a situation that has a pox on a multitude of houses.
