CRUZ or LOSE!
Ted Cruz Ping! I think the bottom line here is that if Cruz votes no, it is a symbolic gesture on something that will give the senate a say on what happens. You vote no, any input you give afterwards lacks credibility.
I think he didn’t want to vote yes, but by voting yes, his voice will be heard.
It’s a good move politically and doesn’t hurt him since he voted no on cloture.
As I see it, voting no would label him “extremist”...voting NO when it was going to pass anyways wouldn’t have changed anything but Cruz chances to win in 2016 which we desperately need him to do. Its the Republican leadership that has caved TOTALLY.

I don’t have a problem with it. From what I’ve heard about it, the Corker Amendment sucks, but it was the last idea standing to slow down a bad Iran deal.
If the Senate ever got some b”lls and actually had a vote on any Iran “deal” whether it was a treaty or not, I’m 100% confident Ted would be voting that deal down and that’s what matters.
As for the John Kerry references of some throwing around here, give me a break. He’s not voting for a bad Iran deal.
