As supporters of Cruz, we are so used to seeing him throw the long ball and connect that it is disappointing to see him have to punt.
But punting is a fact of life in football.
Ted Cruz is throwing the ball out of bounds to stop the clock. But we are left in limbo not knowing if there is anything else that can be done.
I don't know about that/this. It just seems like there's a bunch of people ready and willing to excuse anything Cruz says or does — there's a lot of truth in the sarcastic comment Hawthorn made (Cruz can do no wrong. /s
). I didn't like that attitude among the Obama supporters, I didn't like it among some of the Palin supporters, and I don't like it in some of the Cruz supporters.
Right is right, wrong is wrong, and the essentials thereof don't change dependent on the person being talked about.
