She actually did a pretty good job of touching on the issues I’ve observed.
Women today aren’t happy just to take a man’s children either. They can’t stop until they’ve totally destroyed the man in the eyes of his children, if the guy shows any inclination to care about them, and she’s at all incompetent.
It’s like this period in your life is just erased.
You can try to see your kids, but if she’s vindictive, she’ll make sure the kids have something better to do on your visitation day. She’ll give them permission to go all sorts of great places, and then you’re the bad guy if you actually dare to want to see them anyway.
When you finally give up, she’ll tell them you never loved them in the first place. They’ll believe her.
No fault divorce means she can go out and sleep around on you, abandon the children for months/years on end as she does it, and the courts will still give her custody unless you can spend big bucks to buck the system.
The if you win the kids hate you anyway.
Then you get the privilege of making support payments, you may or may not be able to deduct from your tax return.
If she doesn’t spend the support on the children, it doesn’t matter. If you say anything, you’re the great Satan trying to manipulate the system against this saintly individual.
If she decides to spend the support money on getaway weekends for her and her boyfriend, it’s because she deserves it. If young kids are left at home with very little supervision, the courts don’t want to hear it. They already made a perfect decision and you’re causing trouble. She isn’t.
The kids the court claimed to want to protect? They don’t matter.
I’ve seen so many women just ruin (or at least set back) young boys in their transition to manhood as they heap praise on the young man to flatter him into preferring her over dad. I’ve seen women encourage other adult women to play into this to sexually entice the kid to encourage loyalty to his mom.
It’s a wonder to me that men want to get married again after going through this, and yet they do.
Perhaps I’m not up to date on what the younger generation is doing today, but I’d say the courts and women have pretty nearly destroyed a good thing at the expense of men.
Ladies, I think you’ll see this as very harsh, but I have observed this first hand.
I've seen the other side of the story. I've known quite a few women whose husbands ditched them (after 20 or more years of marriage) for "newer models". These were good, faithful Christian women who were devoted to their families.
That happened to my son in law from a previous relationship.

I have seen this happen to several of my friends over time. Ugly.
