Yes, but I believe that’s driven by feminists. Most advertising, articles etc. today says “it’s a given.” Put it all out there. They have to determine for themselves if that shoe fits what they want.
When my son went to college I heard about this and that girl he met along the way...he was determined to play the field and just enjoy his college years and did for a time.... Until the call when he said, with a whole different ‘tone’...”Mom I’ve met a girl I want to tell you about”.
Gone was the excited fun happy go lucky calls I’d become used to...this was serious. He married that young lady and has three children today...after many years together they remain very much in love and devoted to one another. Because they were not only committed to each other...but to everything they had committed ‘to the marriage’ itself.
