Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee’s opponents in the race for the White House who are senators should either resign or drop out of the contest, he said on ABC’s Good Morning America Wednesday.
“If a person has a job that the taxpayers are paying for, shouldn’t that person do that job?” Huckabee, a Republican who said Tuesday he was running for president, told ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos on GMA.
Three of his opponents in the Republican presidential field are U.S. senators: Sens. Rand Paul, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. Asked whether he thought his opponents should resign, he called it a clear choice.
“I just believe it’s a matter of integrity to say, ‘I don’t want this job that I just got elected to, I think I want another job,’” he said. “OK, then resign the job you want, or the job you have, and go out there and seek the one you want.”

As far as I can see, most candidates fall into essentially one of three groups on dealing with illegal immigration: make it legal, essentially do nothing, and pretend to do something.
I've yet to see someone [as a serious candidate] propose recognizing the invasion, using military force to secure the border, and scooping up those running sanctuary cities
for their treason.

As soon as it’s evident they will be the nominee is ok with me. But when they are running for president, I want no holdouts, no fallbacks, no second-thoughts.

Bob Dole resigned once his nomination was secured.
The nominee should have NO other duties or ‘worries’.

IIRC when he ran before, he stayed in until it was a shoo-in for the GOPe choice to be nominated.
Eventually Paul and Rubio need to drop out and support Cruz.
We need Cruz to stay in the senate to balance out dems and GOPe influence.
To call for all of these senators to drop out now (when only one of them can be nominated and the elected President) is nonsense. In a perfect world the one that could win (Cruz) should drop out.
But with all major elections being decided not by the voters but through voter fraud (ACORN, alive and well using pseudonyms, Obama’s millions of illegal-alien-insurgent-criminal-invading-colonists voters) which the GOPe will not fight how can real citizens voters have a chance to elect anyone?
Win by default, that’s the fearless RINO way!!! Hey, all you Senators running for President, especially you conservative one’s, resign your seats and make sure the democrats take the Senate in 2016!!! If your not willing to do that, just drop out and let me run by myself.
