I don’t really have one yet. People are complaining about “too many candidates,” but I actually think that’s a good thing at this point. They’ll shake out pretty soon and there will be only a few, but at least the RINO establishment won’t be able to impose their candidate that easily (as has happened in the last two elections).
I like Jindal, but he hasn’t announced and I don’t think he could get support. I like Fiorina, but the press hates her and has ignored and suppressed her, but now that she’s announced, they’re going to try to Palinize her - meaning, make her look like a silly conservative broad who has this crazy idea that she can compete with the Dem big dogs.
I like Walker, also, but I wish he hadn’t gotten into the religion thing, because his ideas and performance were good enough to stand without trying to cultivate any particular groups. I realize that bloc voting (successfully used by the Dems with their captive black and female voters) is all the rage, but I actually think that this model is going to change, and probably even in this election. It might be much more about ideas than identity.
I also read that Rick Snyder is considering a run. I don’t know much about him other than his performance, which was good...any ideas?
CRUZ or lose! That’s my idea. No nambypamby inclusive big tent reach across the aisle garbahge, just pure solid unapologetic conservatism like Reagan believed.
