Would we ever be able to detect particles moving faster than the SOL?

Einstein stated that nothing can be accelerated to the speed of light. Nothing with mass anyway, as it would require an infinite amount of energy to do so, given that mass increases to infinity as objects approach light speed.

Yes....this must be why my car travels many fewer miles/gallon at speed 120 than at 40 ;)
