Considering the very few shots fired by the Officer against two attackers and the speed the attackers were incapacitated, I'm fairly certain we'll learn the hits were head shots when the details are reported. In this case, body armor provided no protection for the attackers.

Truthfully, a well-placed 9mm JHP round would have produced the same effect delivered to the central nervous system. However, I must admit that I grinned when I learned the pistol used was a Glock 45ACP (probably Glock 21). I've carried and trained with its little brother, the Glock 30 45ACP (10+1), for many years.
