Why stop there? It is extremely dangerous to make a hamburger at home. Bad things could happen. I can't think of any right now, so you'll just have to trust me on this.
Anyone who wants a hamburger should, by law, have to go to a government-licenced restaurant.

What I don’t get is how no one bothers the people making bio-diesel in their garage or backyard. They are essentially running a refinery but that is ok and soap is bad?

Companies and brands that support the bill:
I never realized that the home-making of soap was such a threat to companies or was such a health problem.
It would be interesting to know how many have died from making home-made soap in the last decade.
Of course, it could be the odor. Maybe they should add a regulation on how much perfume would be mandatory and how much would be excessive.

OMG!
I just Googled: how many have died from making soap at home. Google returned 68,300,000 results.
None of the initial results gave a number but seem to be recipes on soap-making.
This needs to be nipped in the bud! [/s]

“Personal Care Products Safety Act (Senate Bill S.1014)”
Here we go again
Dang it...
I would think with I could see “Personal Care Products” in the Constitution, but for some reason I cant find it.
Once again, this shows that I have an older version of the Constitution. Mine doesnt list raisin control, ketchup speed control, smelly body products, and others as one of the specific authorities given to the federal government.
Can someone point me to where I can download a latest version of the Constitution?
One that specifically authorizes (enumerates) federal government authority over such things as:
- the amount of water in my toilet bowl
- the type of light bulbs I use
- body stench removal products
- how fast ketchup should flow out of the bottle
- and also raisin control.
