Two men were shot in a parking lot outside the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland Sunday afternoon, SWAT officials told News 8.
Those men possibly had explosives on them, SWAT officials said. Everyone at the center, which was hosting a Muhammad Art exhibit, was told to find a safe place inside the building.
SWAT members were at the scene for the event.

“It’s going to be a long hot summer” is going to be reality this summer.
What’s going to be great is they will determine where these guys live...who they associated with...where they got their ammo and guns and implicate other people along the way.

Pamela Geller is one tough lady. I’m glad that she exposed these savages for what they are and I hope Americans would wake up! Why are we letting these people come to our country and tell us what we should do or not do!

Yes it is going to be a long summer .....am seeing more and more foreigners in our area...a small city....not too many Muslims...but more S.Americans and Mexicans coming in here. Just 8 yrs. ago you didn’t see any!

When I heard they shot them immediately after firing at the other officer....all I could think of was what Bush said recently....he summed it up this way...”Shoot them”!!!
Some are local police, others are personal of Geller’s and Geerts...and others brought in for this event.

Local Garland police don’t wear all of that gear....just regular patrolman type...

Locals do have swat teams I understand that were there or were certainly there in case of this happening.
Geert Wilders....was there and I can’t name the other political figure....but yes there were several significant people there.
Pam certainly snuffed them out...they were prepared for the possibility of this happening....and may be why it was organized outside the larger cities in this sleepy community.
Which makes one think good idea to have events outside the cities....the police have far better control and visual.
