A contingent of Orthodox rabbis from New York and New Jersey came and “told it like it is” outside of the US Supreme Court on the day of the “gay marriage” hearing. A larger group of 850 Orthodox rabbis publicly demanded the recusal of Justices Ginsburg and Kagan from the case.

Ginsberg is the most radical leftwing baby killing, sodomite “marriage” loving POS who has ever sat on the court. But the battleaxe that will impose sodomite “marriage” on the country. Her vote is a given, like the rest of the anti-God leftists on the court. No, the vote that destroys marriage will come from reliable republican sell-out Anthony Kennedy with a probable assist from the equally worthless John Roberts. His sodomite first-cousin, who has a ring-side seat to the big occasion, all but predicted Roberts voting for sodomite “marriage” when DOMA was defeated a couple years ago. So in the end it will be worthless, left-leaning republican-appointed judges who will destroy the institution of marriage in the United States.
The materialistic attitude about marriage was the most destructive element. SSM, years later is just a nail in the coffin.

Good for the rabbis. But IIRC, the “orthodox” were among the most prominent hillary supporters that put her over the top in the NY Senate race.
A couple hundred voters from one Hassidic group did not put Hillary ‘over the top’.
Well, I may not be remembering correctly, but they sure voted for her knowing exactly what she was and is.

On the issue of legalizing same-sex marriage, the Orthodox Jewish world speaks with one voice, loud and clear:
We oppose the redefinition of the bedrock relationship of the human family.
The Torah, which forbids homosexual activity, sanctions only the union of a man and a woman in matrimony. While we do not seek to impose our religious principles on others, we believe the institution of marriage is central to the formation of a healthy society and the raising of children. It is our sincere conviction that discarding the historical definition of marriage would be detrimental to society.
Moreover, we are deeply concerned that, should any such redefinition occur, members of traditional communities like ours will incur moral opprobrium and may risk legal sanction if they refuse to transgress their beliefs. That prospect is chilling, and should be unacceptable to all people of good will on both sides of this debate.
The integrity of marriage in its traditional form must be preserved.

Oh yeah. Bill granted clemency and Hill got 1400 votes and money from New Square Hassidim. Disgraceful, but not unusual.
Even nuts and bolt are referred to in male and female terms on how they fit together. The homosexual lobby is way more committed to their cause then are the Christians, the homosexuals know deep down it is wrong and God says so, that is why they stop their ears and "la,la,la, we don't want to hear what God almighty says."
The suggestion seemed to be that, if they could deliver their community's vote to the Arkansas Medusa, she might obtain relief for their incarcerated leaders. They delivered. She did not. The Chassidic Jews in NYC delivered so many votes for Ronaldus Maximus after he was endorsed by the Lubavitcher Rebbe that Reagan came within 27,000 votes of carrying New York City. Calvin Coolidge (1924) was the last Republican POTUS nominee to actually carry the city.
Your generalization in characterizing the Orthodox for one isolated incident is quite inaccurate. Particularly the Chassidic Jews generally live Torah, mind their own business and vote as you would expect them to vote accordingly.
The Chassidic rabbis standing up for Western Civilization outside the SCOTUS are the rule. The corruptible upstate Satmars are the exception. Even they may have learned not to trust Hillary.
