The more I hear these people come out—a friend, a wife, etc.—the more I think these officers are flat out guilty. Excuses, denials, remorse, and “good” character won’t restore Freddie Gray back to life. At this point, time to let the legal system run its course. Then again, if any or all of these six officers want to fess up to what happened, I’m sure the media would be happy to take their interview.
Ballmere is lost. Plenty of blame to go around, but 0bama is at the core of the problem.
After the prosecutor came out and said “As young people, our time is now”, you still trust the “legal system”, whatever that is?
I’m not convinced of anything at this point.
The officers are as easily innocent as guilty.
We’ll see how it shakes out in time.
Why? Because you hate cops? Give us any evidence whatsoever that the police caused Gray's injury. I've yet to see you do so.
The world is better place without a drug-dealing scumbag like Freddie. How many lost their lives after using drugs he sold them?
It's a sick society that makes a martyr out of drug dealer.
Of what?
Murder? Protocol infractions, not putting a seat belt on him? Not getting him medical attention quicker?
You could be right, but I think the big question is are they really guilty of intentionally trying to kill or seriously harm Gray?
In fact, I'm not sure any of these people are guilty of anything which would rate prison time. Maybe being fired for not following policy.
They came to a decision to charge these guys really quick. We'll see what evidence they allegedly have.
I look forward to seeing their evidence. But it better be good since Baltimore was looted and burned over it.
Freddie Grey set himself up long before this incident....many times over. And he ran ....yet again.
