If he was publicly intoxicated, do the unlawful imprisonment charges go out the window?
So did lots of blacks during the Ferguson fiasco. An initial statement on the record with the cops as close as possible to the event in question is better than something he might say a month or two later.
Just as much a stretch that six officers maliciously killed him. that’s what’s good about America and grand juries.
I’d like to know what the contents of his stomach were at the autopsy.
I don’t think they maliciously killed him. I think it was probably an accident. I also think they haven’t told us the truth yet.
That seems absurd. If the police had spotted a hand-to-hand, wouldn’t the police have made that claim immediately, rather than call his knife a switchblade, and blame his arrest on that?
If he had ingested a large dose of heroin, he would have passed out.
Not to mention that he was hogtied, by his hands and feet, on his belly on the floor of the van, head towards the front, in a space about 2 feet wide between the bench and the divider.
That interview was beyond comical. No rational person would buy that ridiculous nonsense.
Lucky Sean is also rumored to have construction skills.
Not trying to piss in anybody’s cornflakes, but Hannity is a tool of the RNC.
He was pushing Romney last election.
The thing is, regardless of what drugs he was on or what state of mind he may have been in, it is now the burden of the state to prove beyond a reasonable doubt what exactly was done to him, how it was done, why it was done, when it was done and who exactly did it.
The state has a high burden at this point.
If I’m on that jury, and the state wants me to convict that van driver of second degree murder, then the state got some serious ‘splaining to do, because at this time, I just do not see the necessary elements for a conviction on that charge.
And I think that is the charge that the most attention will be paid to by those watching as it is the most serious.
Actually heroin does turn you into a zombie of sorts. Its called the heroin nod....people fall asleep standing up.
Well stated. We need those three spooky mind readers from “Minority Report” lol.
I guess next is cameras in the van.
You got a link showing he was left hogtied and on the floor of the van?
But the Revuhrund Jackson said during his funeral he was a committed Christian and a choirboy!
There are ways of breaking one’s own neck; jumping off a building, hanging yourself etc..
But it’s highly unlikely that a handcuffed young man could accomplish it. With him in the back of a vehicle with his hands handcuffed behind him, it’s much more likely it was the starting and stopping and turning. Remember he can’t hold on...
I believe that he did break his own neck. I can just imagine him banging his head back against the truck and then shifting his position such that his next head-bang drive his neck into that bolt in the truck. Sort of a “Darwin moment”.
Yep, and common sense, and our own personal experiences etc. One thing about it... both sides are going to have their own experts in court. I was a foreman on a murder trial, and we convicted him of murder 1 and gave him life without parole. Part of the jury instruction says a jurist should weigh all of the evidence and use their own experiences and common sense and judgement to decide who is telling the truth and who isn't.
How come the other guy in the van wasn't dead too?
Well if he swallowed heroin that could explain how it all happened. He ODed and went into violent convulsions. Remember how River Phoenix died from a speed ball. Was so dramatic that even Christina Applegate apparently acted out the convulsions once for some stupid event.
