Most likely they’ll win against that charge. A reasonable mistake isn’t a violation of the law.

... Most likely they’ll win against that charge. A reasonable mistake isn’t a violation of the law.

Especially if the suspect flees when they're trying to investigate whether or not the knife is legal.

By the way, did they ever even officially arrest him, or did they take him to the hospital before booking him?
