States Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby said Friday she has probable cause to file criminal charges in the much publicized death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray who died while in police custody.
Six officers, including a lieutenant and a sergeant, have been suspended after the incident. Gray suffered a spinal injury and died after riding in a police transport van that made several stops.
On Thursday, Baltimores police officials said they turned over their initial report to prosecutors a day earlier than expected.

The convict was LEGALLY arrested, for cause. No, it was not a true switchblade, but he was carrying a spring-assisted knife BANNED BY BALTIMORE CITY CODE. Maryland does NOT have a state-level knife law preemption law.
I’ll tell you why there was no grand jury. This is a politically motivated case of prosecutorial over reach. This prosecutor knew she would not get a true bill on some of these charges, the 2nd degree murder charge, for sure.
It has been reported that the officers observed Gray and another man in what looked like a drug transaction. In a case like that they do have the right to arrest someone who is attempting to flee. The other man also ran but got away.
I feel 39 plus tax and tip.

She could be a double for a racist I worked with for years. Yep, Attitude and a Giant Chip.
Where was that reported? It's not in his arrest report.
Post #411 “He had heroine, marijuana, and another opiate in his urine when he was first admitted to the E room.”
“The BPD police field commander witnessed Gray do a hand to hand drug deal. He (commander) directed the officers to arrest both perps. Gray ran for this reason.”
Thanks for the information.
Mosby needs to step down.

She swiftly rejected a request from the Baltimore police officers union asking her to appoint a special independent prosecutor because of her ties to attorney Billy Murphy, who is representing Gray’s family. Murphy was among Mosby’s biggest campaign contributors last year, donating the maximum individual amount allowed, $4,000, in June. Murphy also served on Mosby’s transition team after the election.
March going on. Reporterette saying they may be headed to the jail house. Demanding that curfew be lifted and NG removed.
UPDATE: #FreddieGray Officer Ceasar Goodson bail set at $350,000. 1st court appearance: May 27th @cbsbaltimore Goodson was driving pox van— Mary Bubala (@MaryWJZ) May 1, 2015
This will piss off the mob. Likely to be a hot time tonight.
I’m sure that’s what they want. It makes it harder to loot and burn down property with a NG presence and a curfew. Thugs!
Then why, in in their arrest report, did the police say that Grey "fled unprovoked upon noticing police"?
How’d they all get the day off work at the same time?
You’ll notice that the seat belt procedure was to be evaluated on an individual basis so as not to place the officer in danger.
It's well past 5:00 in Baltimore....
Saying this is the largest crowd yet. This will not end well.

I do not know that they know that bail has been set for the cop charged with Murder-2. That will be quite unpopular.
I heard it from the cop that was interviewed on Hannity’s radio show.
I don’t see the conflict. This was stated by another Baltimore officer who was interviewed on Hannity.
Oh, right, the guy who said Abner Louima was lying about being sodomized by police right up until the moment the police confessed to it. The fact is that no tox screen has been released, and either Hannity has sources illegally leaking information to him, he's a victim of a fraud like the "back surgery" rumor, or he's just making stuff up.
