State’s Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby said Friday she has probable cause to file criminal charges in the much publicized death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray who died while in police custody.
Six officers, including a lieutenant and a sergeant, have been suspended after the incident. Gray suffered a spinal injury and died after riding in a police transport van that made several stops.
On Thursday, Baltimore’s police officials said they turned over their initial report to prosecutors — a day earlier than expected.

It’s not hypocrisy. You have 6 people who won’t tell the truth, you charge them. Plain and simple. I don’t support people lying to investigators whether they are cops or drug dealers. Nobody is above the law. Fact is they didn’t charge the guy who initially corroborated their story. What did they pick him up for?
Look for angry “blowback” to come down the road. It will come, mark my words.

What a travesty. I fully expect 40% of baltimore’s finest to immediately resign. Why would you put up with this maddness. Freddie had 4 outstanding warrants after 20 convictions of other crimes.He was worse that a thug. He was a criminal thug with warrants outstanding for his arrest!! They see him on the street ,they arrest him!! That is what a warrant for arrest is. Discussions of “probable cause “ are silly.
Freddie was thrashing around to beat himself up and ran into a bolt that snapped his spine. That’s it — That’s all. Free the cops now!! We need millions in the streets!!In every city!!
Those same people were silent when the riots were going on and cops getting hurt but now they are back posting to push their left wing scum agenda. They can’t let an opportunity go to waste can they.

We all know charges would come because the Mayor and others said there will be justice for Gray and they know that fair minded people in the country look at the riots in a negative .
The city attorney is black. She’s gonna toe the racial line and try to charge and convict these men. This is only going to cause more harm than good.
You charge those cops and they’ll either all go to prison together or one or two of them will tell the truth. That’s the only way you might get the truth
Somebody already talked. One of the accused has spilled the story to TPTB.
If Freddie Gray had been in prison... where he belonged after 20 convictions... this wouldn't have happened.
That is not to say he deserved to be murdered, if that is, in fact, what happened.
So you are implying the cops lied without all the evidence.
I know the cops said it was a switchblade. BUT IT WASN’T A SWITCHBLADE. This is one of the many reasons the police officers are in serious legal trouble.
Baltimore considers “switchblades” to be illegal.
Gray had a regular folding knife, which is legal (unless concealed). Gray had his knife attached to his belt (not concealed), and the police improperly called it a switchblade.
It was an illegal arrest.
