Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby ruled Freddie Gray's death to be a homicide.
Why any white people with the ability to leave still live in decaying northeast and midwest cities is beyond me.
This prosecutor is an idiot. Does she and her ilk not realize that if the cops are found not guilty, they have just condemned Baltimore and maybe a few more cities to LA riots (circa 1992) Part II? Building up unreasonable expectations...... Again IDIOTS!
You know.... you charge them all... you have a trial... and along the way one or two of them will tell the truth rather than go to the slammer.
I heard about Rice, I wonder how much the Union plays a role into this preventing Rice to be fired. This Rice dude has some issues, and should never have been remained a cop let alone a supervisor.
Even before the investigation was over the councilman was out on the street talking about throwing more tax money at "the problem" and the victimhood of the blacks. (Throwing tax money into Baltimore IS the problem!)
This decision was politically motivated rather than motivated by justice.
Who here didn't think the left would band together to lynch these officers? Who didn't expect it coming?
Hopefully, the officers can appeal any left wing rulings and take this outside of the "kill the crackers" district. Then we'll know for sure what really happened or if they're guilty of anything. Untill then, it's just another political attack by the left.
The driver of the van charged with second degree murder. WTF?
HOW did I know (before I checked) that DA Mosby was AA?
I must be clairvoyant.
Or something.
Of course the mayor has been negligent in her handling of the protests/riots (at least negligent - possibly intentionally destructive).
But that does not mean that the officers' actions were lawful.
Including the big city, union cops.
This is the black resentment that democrats have cultivated to gain political advantage for the last 50 years boiling to the surface.
Why would anyone want to be a cop in a city like Baltimore, Newark, Philadelphia, etc?
And why would any white person remain living in a black governed city?
Baltimore state’s attorney says criminal charges will be filed in death of Freddie Gray
More: State’s attorney says there is probable cause to file charges in death of Freddie Gray as he was arrested ‘illegally’
Officers were ‘grossly negligent’ in ignoring Freddie Gray’s need for medical attention, state’s attorney says
Autopsy rules Freddie Gray death a homicide, direct result of fatal injury while unrestrained in police wagon, state’s attorney says
Can you say railroaded? I knew you could.
Are there any black-governed cities that aren’t financial, physical or cultural wrecks?
Cops might want to quit arresting heroin dealers.
Baltimore’s a democrat city... from top to bottom. We have to assume they’re all corrupt...
Yep. Just start calling in sick. Let the criminals have at it. Give them time to destroy, just like the Mayor wanted.
They should, but is it viable? They have families, and for many if the city burns they lose everything. I'd imagine that many who can do so will leave, creating a vacuum.
One hopes their union will defend them vigorously.
FWIW, Cleveland has (so far) handled tough situations better. One suspects they're anticipating and preparing for soon-to-occur events.
Does this Baltimore mayor have no analytical thinking skills? (rhetorical question) With her attitude Baltimore is an easy target for the anarchists. (Is it racist to call them "anarchists"?) (sarcasm)
