Just a simple question that I haven't heard anyone ask.
I wore a navy blue gown in honor of the “Blue dress!!
It was a night to remember.
I wonder if they would like to return the artwork that was given to the American people in a special showing? They took some priceless glass art! I wonder what else disappeared?
I bet that is just a start...What was the value of that one glass piece? 100K??
No one got in her house near the Naval Observatory...huge party in the back yard in tents, and she charged huge donations to be there. They all expected tours of the new residence of Senator Clinton!! Instead they were led around to the back...they never learn!
I can’t even find a picture on the Net of Hillary in her green jacket accepting that Waterford punch bowl. Fox News shos it al the time, but it seems to be scrubbed from Google.
I was referring to the Dale Chihuly glassblowers work that was donated to the “Celebration of the American Craftsman” event that the White House sponsored and said all the items were donations to the American people, I assumed the Smithsonian or a traveling museum of some kind.
Small pieces cost hundreds of dollars. I visited one of his galleries and inquired about the location of the piece that was donated. They sounded sincere about it being in the Smithsonian and would not believe me when I said the Clintons took it from the White House when they left.
Sorry. I remember that. Tipper Gore had a Chihuly piece in the entry hall of the VP mansion — Naval Observatory.
It probably means no more to them than a Lennox vase does to us!
I did not use the name the first time since I had to look up how to spell Chihuly!
I did not know about the Gore’s Chihuly. I wonder if that is the same one? Guess not. Who got it in the divorce? LOL
I’m not sure that it belonged to the gores. I think it was something installed after Tipper redecorated the VP residence. At the time I thought it belonged to the Govt., but I could be wrong on that.
At this point, what difference does it make?
