Why... oh why... would I like to throw a brick at sharpton?! “We are going to have to fight state rights”... says it all.
In addition to federalizing the police, he also means one other thing....they will have to be racial and ethnic minorities.
He wants non- whites to rule over whites, even if they are minorities.
The federal government is that way now: disproportionately black, hispanic and asian. TSA is a good example.
Rule whitey, even if you have to import the non- whites.
Can you imagine he would say this if a Republican were in office? If it’s not good policy with Republicans in office how is it good policy when Democrats are in office?
He’s ahead of the game and is exposing the the DOJ/Obama plan before they are ready. All of the proposed oversight and remaking of police departments are intended to Federalize law enforcement and make they subservient to Washington. Sharpton is pulling off the mask too soon.
Every enemy of America is singing the same refrain.
This has been the plan right along. Cause rioting and mayhem in all the major cities, and then say it is necessary to federalize the state police. Why do you think Sharpton is constantly visiting Obama in the WH? They are plotting their next moves.

That big gov 3,000 miles away is keenly in tune with all of our local needs. We may have to expect longer-than-normal 911 response times, however, as the cops board the next plane out of IAD. That’s a small price to pay for knowing Nanny Gov is keeping us all secure and protected.

This was exactly my thought. All of these events are being orchestrated for a purpose, and Al Sharpton just revealed what it is.

Q: can and when will Obola sign an Executive order that establishes a mechanism for more direct DOJ authority / federal oversight of state law enforcement?

The purpose of citizens is NOT to give politicians power. In fact, citizens do not exist to enrich politicians at all.
Citizens’ rights are only protected when the politicians serve *them*, and that is more likely to happen when government occurs at a level close to the citizen, not at some mammoth bureaucracy that has no stake in citizens’ well-being.
Not so Sharpton regurgitating ValJars marching orders.
If the feds take over policing and exercise the same kind of “prosecutorial discretion” we’ve seen in immigration, local laws will be irrelevant.
Al has out lived his usefulness........
