Hillary Clintons proposal to get money out of politics could allow the federal government to restrict or ban the publication of a book that has embroiled her presidential campaign in controversy, experts say.
Clinton called for a constitutional amendment to get unaccountable money out of politics in an op-ed for the Des Moines Register published Monday.
Her campaign did not respond to requests for additional details, but legal experts say similar efforts over the past two years would have profound effects on Americans free speech rights.

Please, please, please try this, Hillary. These aren't the days of smuggled mimeographs in the Soviet Union. One hint of censorship would shoot demand for pirated copies on the web to the tens of millions.

Her problem is that Stalin had old answers and this is a new world.
I don't see her keeping up with technology well either.

She doesn’t have to. She delegates. Her emails are an example of what you say, though.

Clinton called for a constitutional amendment to get unaccountable money out of politics in an op-ed for the Des Moines Register published Monday.Would that include "unaccountable money" from her own foundation?

Liberals want to ban free speech they don’t like.
It surely isn’t a coincidence that Hillary wants to silence criticism of the shady dealings of her foundation.
The woman who wants to get money out of politics is raising money by the truckload from wealthy donors.
Just don’t accuse her of hypocrisy.

Not illegal for foundations to solicit play for pay foreign cash.
The Democrats’ proposed solution would do nothing to address it.
