CNN has learned that U.S. Navy warships will now accompany every U.S.-flagged commercial vessel that passes through the Strait of Hormuz due to concerns that ships from Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps navy could try to seize a U.S. cargo ship.
The classified plan was approved by the Pentagon Thursday, according to a senior defense official.

There has always been “something” about CNN. Back in late ‘99 I was getting ready one morning and I saw a report on CNN about an American C-130 going down in South America in what could be basically described as a large main street USA city. The story ran only once on the loop and then *poof*; it was gone. This was at the very dawn of the Internet so websites, blogs, etc didn’t exist back then the way the do today or even 10 years ago. I was in awe that it didn’t “stay” news. It is then I pulled my head out of my ass and stopped (for the most part) believing what is televised.
How many commercial ships over there are flying US flags?
