A prisoner who shared a ride to jail with Freddie Gray claims the 25-year-old was trying to injure himself inside a police van before he died from unexplained spinal chord injuries, according to a leaked police report.
The report was leaked to the Washington Post under the proviso that the prisoner remains anonymous - raising questions about its accuracy and the favorable light which it shines on the Baltimore police force

not if he was “combative” and pissed abut being detained, or drunk or drugged and acting out in a tantrum
Guy could banged his head against the meatwagon wall just too hard and at a real bad angle, especially if he had a preexisting condition, People with broken or cracked vertebrae can literally walk around with a broken neck, and the next “whack” or even a quick turn off the neck can paralyze or kill them
almost happened to a friend of mine who after car accident walked away but in hours complained of severe headaches, was luckily x-rayed and quickly put into a neckcast for broken neck
However the city is still negligent for fialingot put him in a sealbelt
When I worked in the Pennsylvania Dept. of Corrections I have seen this happen. I watched a crook bang his head of a brick wall until he knocked himself out. I watched them jump of a bed head first onto a concrete floor just to get sent to medical. Fake hangings, cutting up. This could be a truth but have to wait for the real report!
Yeah, it does, because if that's what he was trying to do, he succeeded beyond his wildest dreams.
That’s what is, or was now.
“Absolute bullshit, newbie.”
Obviously you didn’t see the original video. It doesn’t have the CNN logo.
Your delusional. He stood up on the bumper and twisted his back and neck back toward the camera.
Post your imaginary video.
” We dont allow police to kill people just because theyve been convicted of crimes in the past.”
And we don’t now.
There is no evidence of police abuse here. Only assumption of guilt. The only real evidence out there is video which shows zero abuse and the witness who says he was attempting to injure himself.
“I watched a crook bang his head of a brick wall until he knocked himself out. I watched them jump of a bed head first onto a concrete floor just to get sent to medical. Fake hangings, cutting up. This could be a truth but have to wait for the real report! “
It’s what they do. The difference is that in the past it was to get off of charges. Now it is to hit the “pay’m off to get rid of them” Lotto.
This guys was a serial lawsuit commando. Looks like he wanted a big settlement this time and went to far.
I guess it is time to wrap the arrested boys up before putting in van.
So you admit they knew of the policy. That’s all it will take to convict the cops criminally and force the city of Baltimore to pay out millions in a wrongful death suit.
Game over.
Since this case will be about preventing Baltimore, Phil, DC, Chicago and LA from burning down, the race pimps will use this technicality to fry these good men.
Since it was only out for 3 days, they probably haven’t rec’d training. I’d to see some of the anti police pussies on here try to restrain a nutball, wacked out on drugs who will bite you and spit on you and head butt you, with no regard for human decency.
It doesn’t seem likely that being unbelted had anything to do with the injuries, though.
I suppose it could have, but we don’t know.
At least not yet.
CNBC last night had a documentary on Hardcore prisoners physically injuring themselves. They said one prisoner had try to remove his eyeballs with a pencil. Another castrated himself with a plastic spoon/fork.
They also show a video, they had done, of a inmate who had cut his wrists. In this video he punched, in the face, a nurse caring his injuries!
A lot of Libtards have a blind-eye when this, demented behavior, is shown.
A few years back, an inmate at Jackson (Mi) bit his own finger off and tried to sue the prison for not protecting him from himself.
Persons that are of this bent are walking among us on an everyday basis! Some may even be relatives or politicians!
One never knows when then clock will go off.
Sometimes I wonder about us Freepers? ;^) ;^(
“Since it was only out for 3 days, they probably havent recd training.”
Right. We all know that putting a seat belt on a person requires at least 40 hours of classroom training. Then there’s the practical training which is at least 24 hours. Then there’s the 100 question exam to pass.
In my field if I haven’t been trained on something I’m not allowed to perform the task in question. But cops are different than us proles.
Right?
“It doesnt seem likely that being unbelted had anything to do with the injuries, though”
Only to a blind man. Here in Chicago it was called the Black Mariah. Toss the perp in the back handcuffed but unrestrained and then take a little tour of the city. Lots of sharp turns, sudden stops, etc.
L
Like I said, I’d like to see the anti-police pussies attempt to restrain a wacked out nutball and not get bit, spit on and head-butted.
So then why is his record relevant? Many on here seem to be arguing that his prior record would somehow render police wrongdoing less egregious, if indeed it was police wrongdoing that led to his death. That’s absurd, and that’s why I pointed out that we don’t allow police to just kill people because of their record. The crimes of the police, if there are any, are not in any way mitigated by Gray’s record.
BTW, I agree with you. We don’t yet know if there’s any criminal culpability on the part of the police. I am willing to wait for more information to find out. In the event that there was none, though, I still don’t see how Gray’s record is relevant.
Who said the ride wouldn’t injure him?
I said it seems unlikely to have caused the injures that Gray had.
A severed spine, three broken vertebrae, and a crushed larynx.
