As Baltimore burns, Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake is turning the flip-flop into a high art form, to the point where she is now apologizing to the rioters for calling them “thugs.”
She stated early Monday that police were instructed to allow “those who wished to destroy space to do that.” By Monday evening, facing heavy criticism from residents and business owners, she walked back from those comments.
As the city was in flames Monday night, Rawlings-Blake spoke freely on CNN about “thugs” and “criminals” who were destroying what so many had worked so hard to build, even as Marxist professor Marc Lamont Hill said the rioters were just expressing “righteous rage” and should not be called thugs. Hill added that the situation in Baltimore was “not a riot” but “uprisings” in response to blacks “dying in the streets for months, years, decades, centuries.”
By Tuesday, the mayor again walked back from her previous comments.

Its our fault they rioted and have no stores to shop at (after burning the ones that were there down,)

I remember the Baltimore race riots of 1968 when Governor Spiro Agnew called in the community leaders and literally read them the riot act.

Good God and I thought De Blasio was as bad as it got when it came to Mayors. Well all I can say is they elected her, now they got to deal with the consequences. Either that or move which is what I did in New York city, I moved and I grew up there. I could not stand the leftists in office anymore. The final straw was working 14 hours a day just to make ends meet and seeing a huge line of illegals everyday lining up at the welfare office. Every single day going to work I would pass 34-00 Northern blvd in Astoria Queens NYC and see one huge line of Juan and Juanitas and I would say to myself “Why the F am I busting my ass for people who shouldn’t even be here?” So it was goooood bye! May the people in that city choke on the BS they voted for.
Well Baltimore is near Washington so hopefully they’ll riot there next. I mean if they have this huge desire to riot, at least they should use it for something constructive like trashing Congress, maybe that will wake up Congress to the crap Obama has been doing. Let it come right to their doorstep. It is without question Obama is behind all these riots. This crap never happened before, and this frequently? This punk is behind these riots 100%.
