He is not running as an Independent. He is running to get the Democratic Nomination. He said he won’t be a spoiler. However, I think we have a better chance at beating him then Hillary.

Now if the GOP would make a serious play for the lunch pail toting crowd, that could be a real game changer. But it would also risk alienating the Kool-Aid drinking free trade and open borders check writing crowd.

Your Post sounds like you think he’s running as an Indy in the General Election. He’s running against Hillary in the DemocRAT Primary.
Sanders is an independent and not a dimocrat. He does frequently caucus with the rats.
His running may siphon off her extreme left support but they would actually be opposing each other in a general election election.
