Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), who represents part of Baltimore, said Wednesday that the anger that has been on display in the city this week could occur anywhere in the country.
"Baltimore can happen anywhere," he said while appearing on CNN's "New Day." 'You’ve got people look at us right now saying, “That will never happen in my community.' But, yes it will. But you’ve got to have people that listen, and you’ve got to begin to act on it."

But if capital investment leaves Baltimore, then Jesse Jackson, Sharpton, etc. will bitch about the lack of investment in our cities. They will complain that cities are being left behind, yadda, yadda, yadda.
No matter what, the liberal view is that racism and discrminiation are the reasons for problems in our cities. Not bad personal behavior, not the toxic baby mama culture, not the toxic gang culture, not the toxic ghetto culture which poisons life in so many cities. These issues are never discussed.
I doubt it will happen here. Our state is much more Second Amendment Friendly.

It requires two things.
It requires a special culture, a large percentage of indolent existing on welfare, having no education, no skills, a monumental sense of entitlement, and a primitive culture existing in a predator-prey environment.
The second requirement is an enabling system run by "elected" criminals from the same culture, immune from the laws that apply to the working taxpayers, with an endless checkbook throwing money at the growing problem.
Destroy the town?
No problem. "We'll rebuild! With Grants and "loans" which can never, and will never, be repaid. Free money.

A temporary (historically) stable system with a tax base consisting of very large businesses generating more revenue than can possibly be used wisely, and passing the "costs" on to the country at large. Invisible permanent "wealth."
Watch these government enablers move out of town and the system will collapse. As long as ignorant criminal dysfunctional classes are in charge, it's just a matter of when.

But there is discrimination, but in my view most of it is based on the behavior of our Black Community as a whole. The days of it being based solely on skin color are largely gone. Nothing is going to change until Blacks accept responsibility for their actions and the start policing their own. An by that I mean ratting out the trash in their own society and seeing to it that they are prosecuted and removed. Bing poor doesn’t meat being criminal.

I carried a Thompson in the Nam for awhile. Real boat anchor but, damn, could it chop brush.
Then I found an M-3. A little lighter but it still chopped through brush like a hot knife through butter.
Went back to an M14 though as it worked just as well in heavy cover but could reach out and touch people a submachine gun couldn’t.
My dad has an M1 carbine he lets me shoot.

There are enough well armed rednecks like myself in our little corner of east Texas that the probablity of thuggery riots is pretty slim. Heck I got some new toys to try out if they would like to bust into my house to loot.
