Baltimore Gang Members Unite To Protect Black-Owned Businesses, Direct Looters Towards Chinese- And Arab-Owned Stores
Crips, Bloods and Black Guerilla Family gang members reportedly stood guard in front of some black-owned businesses to protect them from would-be looters and arsonists. Instead, neer-do-wells were directed to businesses owned by Arabs and Chinese, according to The New York Times.
Reports began circulating Sunday night that members of the three competing gangs had agreed to a cease-fire in a show of solidarity over the recent death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray. Gray, who was black, died a week after being arrested on April 12. He suffered a severe spinal injury of unknown origin.
Police believed that the gangs planned targeted attacks on officers. While no officers were shot as many had feared at least 15 were injured as looting, rioting and arson gripped the city.
In Baltimore, I do not think they have any.
So many leftist headaches in this whole thing. My favorite is the drumbeat of "we need strong men in this community" and "these kids don't have fathers."
So... in the gay marriage debate, a father isn't that important... in business and social life, men (especially strong men) are seen as anti-feminist. But, suddenly, when everything goes to hell, the absence of men is causing the problems.
That is not at all an unreasonable theory.
Who says "community organizers" don't fulfill a vital role!?!
You think the riots Monday were bad? Wait til the grand jury clears the six officers.
It takes a few days to generate the graphics for and print the signs these grassroots protesters started out with....and to prepare Twitter/social media ping lists, for the 0phones.
The regime tries hard doesnt it to bring about an excuse for martial law.
Not to worry....0bie said, just yesterday, that he "can't just nationalize all the police forces" across the nation.
Wonder if there are any Korean owned stores in Baltimore. Just sayin’.
My main thought through this has been, “Baltimore needs more Koreans.”
Michael Savage commented that the Nepal earthquake makes them the luckiest couple alive. It blew the uranium selling scandal off the front page.
This action by these groups isn’t racist at all according to the leftist mind.
A dog won’t crap where it sleeps, but these people will burn down stores where they shop. Who has better sense?
I am willing to bet they....the mob...didn’t go after the Korean operated stores, one shop owner, was reported guarding his store with a shotgun....
Every single member of the Baltimore city council is a Democrat.
Liberalism and all the toxic government dependence and cronyism and union corruption and failed schools that comes along with it, has run amok in Baltimore for a half-century, and that is Baltimores problem. It is the free people of Baltimore who elect and then re-elect those who institute policies that have so spectacularly failed that once-great city. It is the free people of Baltimore who elected Mayor Room-To-Destroy.
You can call the arson and looting and violence we are seeing on our television screens, rioting. Thats one way to describe the chaos. Another way to describe it is Democrat infighting. This is blue-on-blue violence. The thugs using the suspicious death of Freddie Gray (at the hands of a Democrat-led police department) to justify the looting that updates their home entertainment systems, are Democrats protesting Democrat leaders and Democrat policies in a Democrat-run city.
Poverty has nothing to do with it. This madness and chaos and anarchy is a Democrat-driven culture that starts at the top with a racially-divisive White House heartbreakingly effective at ginning up hate and violence.
The evil-stupid-genius Geroge W. Bush must’ve activated the HAARP Array from his man-cave beneath the gymnasium at UT-El Paso.
Duh Mayor got 84% of the vote.
Remember the black Marines and the Iranian embassy? They went home.
Doesn’t this activate federal law and the FBI?
