Good grief. You'll believe anything, won't you? Yes, if they don't live in the company dorm, and a good percentage of the live in town, they'll owe nothing to the company. Dorm rent is fixed, and a minor amount. You are again arguing facts not in evidence.
The suicide rate during the WORST period at FoxConn was one-quarter of the suicide rate of the Chinese population for the same age cohorts . . . One-eighth the rate for the same rate for the same age group in American Ivy League Universities, and that rate was 0.25 per 100,000 population, when the U.S. suicide rate was 11 per 100,000. SHEESH!
Foxconn now has around one suicide per year among 1.2 MILLION workers. You have no clue what you are talking about.
“Foxconn now has around....”
Operative word being “now”. Historically it was higher but the put up engineering measures.
“To address its workers suicidal thoughts and actions, Foxconn has begun offering a 24-hour hotline. Mental health counseling is also provided to workers who need it. These offerings only popped up years after complaints and recommendations were made.”

And you deny jobs are not bought a Foxconn, you are the liar. It is common practice at Foxconn and other Asia companies to buy a job - which you then have to work off the debt. I have confirmed that many times with my business associates in China - one of whom does business with Foxconn.
So I post a link and you say it isn’t true but supply no evidence in support of your rebuttal. Sorry no sale. Every one of the hundreds of stories can’t be untrue and you don’t get be right just because you say so.
