I’ll have to agree...the last update for iPad has made mine almost useless. I have at least 10 “page reloads” a day, for no discernible reason.
When you click the field to post on Facebook, the keyboard covers the field, then the field will not accept the cursor.
And the “disappearing tabs” !
I pretty much hate this iPad now.
That is one reason a device like an iPad can never be part of a control system of a certified aircraft. If the manufacturer is going to push out updates, it can effect the reliability of the device, and it would no longer be certified. There is no way Apple would go through the certification process for every update and patch.
So iPads are relegated to a supporting role, acting as the Electronic Flight Bag.
Time to buy an iWatch.
That sounds like you’ve got a problem with a corrupted file, perhaps during the install process. One thing to do is to do a clean install of the system, using iTunes. Be sure to do a full backup using the iTunes program first.

How did professional Airline pilots get to a point where the can't fly a plane without a handheld widget?
Odd - but as a new iPad owner myself, I’ve not experienced any issues. Mine is an iPad Air 2 128gb model. Upon opening the box, I immediately updated iOS, so I have no experience with the iPad and the previous version of the software.
