I agree. Our legal immigration should be no more than about 50,000 people per year. And those should be educated and bring something to offer to the country. Most of our legal immigration should be from Europe and Canada. Not Africa and the Mideast. The muslim culture just does not mesh with our society. It needs to be stopped.
IIRC, we have been at 1 million per year since I came back in 1976 from the service. I read recently our immigration has been over 51 million during that intervening period. Responsible for 82% of this country’s population growth.
The goal is to change the voter base to elect a permanent Democrat majority. Lately they seem hell-bent on hurrying this up before the 2016 elections fearing a backlash from the abject failure of Obama.
