I read the ferals were starting to go out of their designated range and THAT’S when the NG got the call. Had they not strayed toward Olde Moneyville, the trigger may not have been so quickly pulled. Makes me wonder...
I learned many years ago that I did not and would not live in an area served by or near mass transportation - rail, bus or otherwise. The farther away from that the better. Even better is far away from any major interstate.
My entire family ended up moving from a metro Atlanta county we (my ancestors) had been living in since before the Civil War. It’s been 15 years and I never looked back. Whenever I venture back down there, I just smile and know I made the right decision.
