:(. This is sad. I’m not saying he was a great man, but seeing what his people became? Wild savages in the street. After a group of men and women who by law could not eat in white establishments went through hell to break barriers.
MLK and JFK dying and LBJ living were the death knell of blacks.
If you think I’m soft or left of center read some of my posts. Some think I am rabidly racist. I am not. I am heartbroken by what could have been.
But once a dog goes rabid, it has to be put down.

It is sad the direction they’ve taken.

They allowed themselves to be used by liberals. We can blame liberals for their failed families. We can blame liberals for their failed economic success. We can blame liberals for so many of them being in prison. But the truth of the matter is that it’s their own fault. They took the easy road. They didn’t stand up for what was right. They didn’t stand up for what was moral.

There is no way I am willing to have the government tell me how to run my family. They allowed it to happen. They have to take responsibility.

I think even MLK was over-rated at times, sometimes I wonder if he would have been like a Jessie Jackson (Who worked with King) as time went on, but I do have to say that he's right about character, not ethnicity. However, I cannot deny what I see and it seems like a huge number of Blacks are either like the rioters or (the majority of this group) agree with them. I think what happened to the suspect in Baltimore was fishy and needs investigated but the rioters are way, way wrong. One of my bosses at a job I had, he told me that "Obama being elected set back race relations back to 1970." I think it went even further in some cases. I think he done so much to hurt things, in addition to being radical, he used affirmative action and the way he acts just proves the stereotype that racists have placed upon blacks such as being shiftless, lazy and hedonistic.

Despite the Jim Crow laws, from the time of slavery ending up until LBJ, Blacks made great progress. Here in the Pittsburgh area, we ha the Hill District which was a swinging place of Black owned businesses like car dealers, radio/TV stores, nightclubs and so on. We haf two Black baseball teams, the Pittsburgh CRawfords and the Homestead Greys. Pittsburgh was the biggest jazz scene on the route between New York and Chicago. Black families had a father and mother raising kids. We had beautiful music from that community like jazz and soul.

Today is a lot different. Families are busted, the thriving neighborhoods are Hell-Holes, businesses are gone or left and you have rap and ghetto talk replace soul and jazz. They have devolved or regressed

What scares me is there will be a point when somewhere, sometime, someone(s) will stand up and say "enough!" We can only pray that this someone(s) will be firm but temper things enough to be merciful when needed. Otherwise, we could end up with a dictator bent on genocide at worst. Still people can only take so much.
