The Rev. Jesse Jackson on Thursday urged the people of Baltimore to continue their peaceful protest and expressed his faith in the leadership of Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake.
"People have shown great restraint. I hope they maintain that restraint," Jackson said. "The worst thing that could happen is people are indifferent to this killing, and do nothing. ... The police wagon became a tomb."

Jessie, you’ve done a good job at making money by perpetuating racism. You and your fellow liberals created “the hood” through decades of welfare giveaways in exchange for votes, and then keeping Blacks as a race dependent upon the taxpayers. Fortunately, many escaped your ghetto prison and, through personal gumption, went on to make something of themselves. I believe it was his neck. I’ve seen a video, and he appeared to be screaming in agony while he was on the ground. The police picked him up under the arms and dragged him to the wagon. His body was limp from the neck down.
The video doesn’t show how he was injured.
