President Barack Obama will send three White House officials to the funeral of Freddie Gray, a Baltimore man who died in police custody this month.
Obama sent no senior officials to Margaret Thatcher or Chris Kyle‘s funerals.

The White House says the head of President Obama’s initiative for minority males will attend the funeral of a Baltimore man who died after sustaining serious injuries while in police custody.

Once they have total political control I'm sure they will be far less worried about appearances.
For those who were unsure whether Freddie Gray was an innocent victim or a thug, this should answer the question. If Obama is honoring him, the world is better off without him. His arrest record provides additional confirmation that this was not a nice guy who happened to get picked up again for no reason.
Note: The question of whether the police were at fault in Gray’s death is a different question, and we do not have enough evidence to know that answer.
Thugs are Obama’s real heroes. He lives the street life vicariously through their anarchy.

His (or his representatives) presence would desecrate and profane Chris's funeral.
Not that I'm necessarily defending Obama, but the U.S. sent George Schultz, Jim Baker, and the two most senior members of the U.S. embassy to Lady Thatcher's funeral. I don't see why he should have sent anyone to Chris Kyle's funeral, but I also don't see why he saw the need to send representatives to Freddie Gray's funeral either.

They will be shocked, I think, at the slaughter they would face. Most cops, dirty or not, are not Obama fans. A lot of guns in this country owned by people who know how to use them.
the Italian and Irish where I live are insanely conservative and tough. it would be a bloodbath on their side, I have a suspicion. then maybe a general with guts would form a coup if obummer instituted martial law with no good reason
No and the media has made sure people have not heard much about it, and this shows us Baltimore is going the way of Ferguson.
