That bridge is over 80 years old. It’s been hit many times by ships and barges.
We got stuck on top once when my dad’s truck stalled. The lanes are very narrow. It’s both a train and passenger car bridge over the Mississippi.
You have to say a prayer when crossing that thing.
They redid it 2 years back. Three lanes across makes it smooth sailing now.
I’ve been over the bridge a few times. It is a bit intimidating. I avoid it if I can.
