How would you control feral cats?

She could trap them and take them to the pound. That way if they are not feral the owner has a chance to recover them. One of our cats slipped out of the house one night without a collar, and it happened to him. He was chipped, and we got him back.

Down in Australia they have a horrific Feral Cat problem that is upsetting the eco balance in that these cats are killing millions of birds every year.

So now they have a bounty on Feral Cats and are doing whatever they need to do to eradicate them and the Feral Car population is estimated at 12 million down there.

Wonder what it is here? So trapping them and taking them to spade and neutered is not the answer, it's eradicating them.

I tried traps. Takes 3 months for our county to deliver a trap. Or you can buy one, they’re expensive.

If you take a cat to the pound it will most likely be destroyed, by a person like this woman. All that and we still have 700,000 feral cats. Its sad these people lost their pet. Its good you got yours back.

Our neighbors took a feral cat to the vet. Spent about $500 on care for the animal. It died two months later.
