I tried traps. Takes 3 months for our county to deliver a trap. Or you can buy one, they’re expensive.

If you take a cat to the pound it will most likely be destroyed, by a person like this woman. All that and we still have 700,000 feral cats. Its sad these people lost their pet. Its good you got yours back.

Our neighbors took a feral cat to the vet. Spent about $500 on care for the animal. It died two months later.

I don't believe you. I have two and they are not expensive.

Animal control traps $39.99

I have two of those traps for a chronic raccoon rabies epidemic here

I would find another place to live. My county can have a nuisance bear trap set up in less than a week. We have the problem of townies moving to the country and feeding the "cute" adolescent bears. They just don't have a clue that they are creating aggressive bears. Feeding a bear is the same as killing a bear.

All that and we still have 700,000 feral cats.

You keep using that BIG ROUND NUMBER. Do you have a link?

That is the funniest one. The county must of got out there quickly for your neighbor. Maybe they just don't like you.

We have a couple of vets that will do bulk discounts. Most of the time the work is done by techs. Fixing, shots and a split ear for a hundred. The cat is then released again.

We don't wait helplessly on the county to come do that here. We do that ourselves.
