LANSING, MI Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder "is running" for president, according to a former U.S. Senator, whose comments at a Republican confab were quickly contradicted by a spokesman for the governor, who said he has not made any decisions of that kind.
"I met with Rick Snyder yesterday," former Minnesota Sen. Norm Coleman told reporters on Saturday morning at the Republican Jewish Coalition's spring meeting, according to the Guardian and other publications. "He's running. He's running."
Snyder was in Las Vegas this weekend to attend the RJC meeting as part of what his advisors are calling an economic tour.
"Governor Snyder is traveling the country to tell the remarkable Michigan comeback story. The country can learn from the historic reinvention of Michigan and the Governor is helping change the perception of the state nationally," spokesman Jarrod Agen said in a statement Saturday afternoon.
"The feedback to Gov. Snyder at the RJC was excellent and created a lot of buzz. The Governor indicated that he's watching the presidential race closely and hoping a common sense problem solver emerges, but he has not made any decisions about entering the field at this time."

The good news about him running is that he takes votes from Jeb and Christie. He's a RINO. Competent administrator who would be good as Secretary of Labor. He's good on right to work and judges, and horrible on taxes and the size of government. He's bad on 2nd Amendment issues and a squish on life issues. With Proposal 1 likely going down in flames, he'll have trouble winning a primary here.

“Competent administrator who would be good as Secretary of Labor.”
Probably what he’s going for.

Former RINO Senator, Coleman, who couldn't get elected to a second term, is spouting RINO MI Gov. Snyder "is running for Prez," is as meaningless as about anything.
Whom does Snyder think isn't being represented by JEB, Christie, and Grahamnesty?
How many RINOs does it take to change a light bulb?
None, they are already represented by Hillary, Mallory and Faux a-Hauntess Warren!

It’s getting beyond ridiculous, and not all those intending to declare have yet.
Is this a presidential campaign, or a circus?

Norm Coleman works for The Cheap Labor Express. If Snyder gets in he’s another blocker for the eventual amnesty candidate that the RNC seeks.
Bush is their first preference but they’ll settle for Rubio.

The purpose of paying all these blockers to enter the race is to split the vote and allow them to nominate another Democrat in an R jersey, ala McCain and Romney.

Agree, and of course they simply don’t give a damn how obvious they are about it.

Statewide tax increase on the ballot May 5th. Snyder is pushing for its passage. If it passes, sales tax, gas tax, and vehicle registration fees increase.
I'm voting no only because F-no is not an option on the ballot.

40% of this which is going to be spent on handouts that have nothing to do with the road repairs which this proposal was supposed to finance
Like increased EITC handouts.

Proposal 15-1
A proposal to amend the State Constitution to increase the sales/use tax from 6% to 7% to replace and supplement reduced revenue to the School Aid Fund and local units of government caused by the elimination of the sales/use tax on gasoline and diesel fuel for vehicles operating on public roads, and to give effect to laws that provide additional money for roads and other transportation purposes by increasing the gas tax and vehicle registration fees.
this is what proposal 15-1 is and how it appears on the ballot for may 5, 2015 in michigan’s state wide ballot proposal

Yes he is. I'd rather have John Engler.
