The new mayor of a Missouri city [next to Ferguson] had a tough first day on the job when she was met by police at City Hall and informed she had been suspended over allegations of voter fraud.
Betty McCray, the newly elected mayor of the city of Kinloch, was met in the parking lot at City Hall Thursday by police officers and the city attorney holding articles of impeachment, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.
You cant come in as mayor, attorney James Robinson told McCray. You have been suspended.
McCray, however, was defiant, telling Robinson, You may be the attorney now, but I promise you, you wont be later.

I won. The people spoke, McCray said, according to MyFox2Now.com. I was sworn in by the St. Louis County. Today I take office. I want them out, I want the keys.

Anybody want to bet this turns into another three ring circus?
By the way, the story lists some of the reasons why officials suspect (wrongly, I'm sure) that the vote was riddled with fraud.
Isn’t she a republican?
Kinloch is a north county cesspool. There are fewer than 300 residents and the “police department” exists to collect tickets and fines. And apparently to keep the newly elected mayor out of office.
Elected by vote fraud. Let me guess - a dem?
Dry run for 2016.
That says it all, right there.
voters registered in Kinloch who no longer live there.
Like, too many RATs.
Kinloch has been run by Eric Holder’s people for close to a hundred years. There are no white people to blame for anything going on there.
The New Republican Mayor of Kinloch, MO. The outrage will not bring the Just Us Department to her rescue. The Democrat Criminals that have been running that suburb are really bent out of shape; probably because somebody repo’ed the car with their ballots in the trunk.
The vote was 38-14 ?! This isn’t even a one horse town. I doubt they have a horse.
Both sides seem to be black BTW.
“Elected by vote fraud. Let me guess - a dem?”
More to the point, this is jist more “black on black crime.” And in this case, it’s hard to discern who the crooks are. Most likely all of them, kinda like coyotes fighting over a carcass.
Nope, somebody must of hid their ballot box stuffing. That is a Republican Mayor. Therefore not reported by anyone but, FOX.
I’m a little confused. What about her statement do you disagree with?
She is a Relublican. Her party is not mentioned because a black Republican does not fit the media narrative.
Sounds like the local rats are upset that a Republican won in an (almost?) entirely black town.
Most stories seem to indicate she promised to clean out the old criminal regime and they are making a last ditch stand.
If she IS a Republican, that explains why they WANT HER OUT! The charges could very well be false. Perhaps just a hit job on a Republican by the town lefties?
“Sounds like the local rats are upset that a Republican won...”
Yup. Sounds just like what DemocRATS would do.
(The United States is now long gone. May it R.I.P.)
IMHO
63 votes -- Betty McCray 16 votes -- Darren Small 2 votes -- Theda Wilson 2010 Population -- 298 95% African American
Amazing.
I'd like to think the GOP is finally learning, even to the point of getting themselves their own "Candy Crowley" to moderate a Presidential debate, but after the vote on Lynch last week, I've come to the conclusion that there are MANY so-called GOP that are more dem than most dems.
She must be a democrat. They got the voter fraud playbook down pat.
The mayor of Detroit is a white democrat and that didn’t come without a major fight.
They prevented him from getting on the primary ballot so he won as a write in candidate so they tried to exclude 40% of his votes but the state threatened to step in. He won the general election by a wide margin.
