Senate Democrats still control the U.S. Senate, election results last November aside, an analysis of all the votes taken since Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) took over as Majority Leader shows. In fact, with two minor exceptions, every single vote that has passed the U.S. Senate since the beginning of this Congress in January has passed with at leastusually more than93 percent of support from Democrats. While Republicans have done nothing to create jobs and help the middle class, on other topics like passing clean funding for Homeland Security and confirming Loretta Lynch, Senator McConnell has done the right thing by bringing bills and nominations to the floor that Democrats can support, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reids spokesman Adam Jentleson told Breitbart News. Democrats hope this trend will continue. Since January, according to the U.S. Senate vote count website, there have been 10 nominations confirmed. Each one has seen unanimous support from Democrats who voted, but varying levels of Republican support. Seven nominationsGeorge C. Ditch Mitch is still extremely interested in putting it to Conservatives. May the GOPee wither on the vine.
They don’t need your money anymore. That comes from their corporate paymasters.
Getting a few “dimes” out of the conservative rabble when they can is just gravy to them.
McConnel understands it is important for McConnel to maintain his power and influence, country be damned.
True that.
I told my friends I haven’t voted for a Dim in 30 years. I guess I was wrong.
“McConnel understands it is important for McConnel to maintain his power and influence, country be damned.”
maybe he does but I don’t understand what real power and influence he thinks he has clearly Harry not McConnel runs the senate because McConnel is too incompetent to wield the power voters gave republicans there.
McConnel is an incompetence failure as a leader and I would like someone to ask him why he is content to let democrats continue to run his senate.
It ain’t the RINOs or the DINO’s that are the problem.
It’s the HIPO’s (Hypocrites In Public Office) that will destroy us.
Yes but how many of those bills passed the Senate and got signed into law by Obama?
It is hilarious if not tragic for the country. Republicans win control of Senate, but the Democrats maintain the majority because of RINOS. PERVERSE.
The GOP Senate leadership betrayed their oath to behold and defend the Constitution and the voters who elected them. SHAME ON THEM!!!
We need throw the traitors out of the Senate the next election.
Hall of Shame
Flake
Portman
Kirk
Johnson
Collins
McConnell
Hatch
All you diehard Republicans should wake up and realize that you are supporting the flipside of the same coin that in the pocket of the elites.
ping
You got THAT right !
“It is hilarious if not tragic for the country. Republicans win control of Senate, but the Democrats maintain the majority because of RINOS. PERVERSE.”
It really reflects poorly on Mitch as it makes him look supremely incompetence to have such a majority and yet still the effectiveness of a nearly helpless minority.
But of course that in turn reflects poorly upon the membership that voted for Mitch. We either have supremely incompetent leaders protected by a inflexibly corrupt political system incapable of getting rid of incompetents or the party rulers want to behave like this.
Some of us think they want it because of external interest such as lobbies and big politically active business like Google pulling all the strings for both parties.
