During her tenure as secretary of state for the Obama administration, Hillary Clinton used a private email account on a private server in her possession instead of using a government-provided account on a secure government server.
In the aftermath of this revelation, Hillary deleted thousands of emails from her private server instead of turning them over to the State Department, despite ongoing congressional inquiries and Freedom of Information Act requests for the documents.
Chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi Trey Gowdy has been at the forefront of the efforts to obtain Hillary’s emails as he continues his quest to uncover everything that happened before, during and after the tragic 2012 terror attack on the diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya.
Although Hillary has somehow avoided answering any of the many questions Gowdy’s committee has for her, her attorney astonishingly claimed in a letter to the committee that all of its questions had already been answered.

Thanks to both of you. It is difficult for some to realize that Rome was not built in a day. Gowdy, as per his training (from education and experience), is keeping the high road while understanding that one mis-step by him will discredit the entire investigation. He is methodically advancing the pursuit, while closing off avenues of escape. It is imperative that he doesn’t overreach. As is apparent from his letter, there is much going on behind the curtain.
I’m curious, do either of you think there may be a “quiet” effort to get emails from Immelt at GE? Others? My experience with prosecutors is that they will seek information which confirms and verifies what the bad guy says. In fact, that is my experience with all competent lawyers and/or parents. IP, I like the analogy of the lion stalking the gazelle. Unfortunately with our culture of 20 second sound bites, there seems to be more of an interest in a pack of wild dogs pursuing prey.

Gowdy has been trying to get access to numerous documents from not only Hitlary but numerous other gubmint losers who constantly stonewall his attempts. Odumbo and Holder (big time losers they are) have done nothing to help him and will never. The demodummie party needs to change their name to “The Granite Wall”.
Interesting question. I just heard about this only a day or two ago on one of the Fox News shows. If it is older news I would be interested in the hearing who was the initial source.
As to Gowdy pursuing GE - that would seem to be a natural course. If I were Gowdy I would ask politely for the e-mails, give GE a week to reply and then off to court or, as an alternative, issue some sort of congressional subpoena - assuming that is possible.

It IS more of a love-in...at least the Committee questionings of the past 5 years have been. It’s like they’re all more interested in their 15 mins of fame than in finding ANY guilt on Hillary’s! behalf.

Give Hillary the questions, let her lie, then produce the evidence to prove she is lying.
By giving her the question in advance she can’t claim she was confused by the question.
