[Gene Simmons]
The bass guitarist for Kiss was raised by a single mother and has said in a television interview that his children will not get rich off his money. They will receive a small inheritance, Simmons says, but "every year they should be forced to get up out of bed and go out and work and make their own way." He has not decided what he'll do with his fortune, but he currently sponsors more than 140 African children through ChildFund.
I pray for Gene's soul to be awakened to the truth of Christ. No one is too far gone, and he obviously knows there is a right and a wrong--he is helping the poor in Africa.
Exactly, especially now seeing the persecution against the Jewish and Christian people in the Middle East. I pray that their death shall bring light to those who do not see that the Word of God and his prophecy is coming to light.
As for being sponsored, good for him. He never bragged about his charities. God Bless Him.
I trained one of the Koch Brothers’ kids at a Big 8 Accounting Firm once.
He had been told point blank he would inherit nothing.
That kid had a huge chip on his shoulder.
His parents were of Hungarian-Jewish origin, “
The current “trends” in the middle east...might well serve to drive em to his knees.
The most any parent should do for their kids is to give them the best education they can afford to give. After that, the kids can make their own path.
These billionaires fortunes are going to end up funding leftist causes, they almost ALWAYS do
With current lifespans, parent should realize that most ‘kids’ won’t get their inheritance until they’re retired or nearly so.
My mother got hers when she was 64. Naturally, after a lifetime of frugal living and paying her own way, not much changed.
Gene is Jewish he does not need to be saved.
Lucky sperm club,,
lots of twisted kids.
Acts would be a good place to start.
Their mother and I gave them enough intelligence, and I gave them enough prompting to earn their way through life, being well and healthy. One died on the highway from drinking, but he was a manufacturing engineer in his 20s, without a college degree, and it was a precision high-tech instrument company. The other three are highly self-motivated professionals and leave the booze alone. I have 19 grandchildren applying the same type of training.
I attribute it to keeping the Lord and His ways continually on mind by which they have succeeded. I hope Gene Simmons' children will pull their own load, but with his rock band history the foundation is questionable, IMHO.
Really?? What are your sources?
They may not need to “inherit” anything if the family has already given them a couple of homes, a few cars, a yacht, and island and perhaps even a company to run.
Eat the rich... For they will surely eat us.
Kids that win the parent lottery would be much better off and more respected if they had to work and create their own success. I don’t buy into the need to make my kids rich or to be handed the needed pocket change to buy their own legislator.
The kids of those with great affluence already have a leg up on most with connections and a paid off Ivy League education. I don’t support creating royal oligarchies. People should be encouraged to give their wealth to good charitable causes that will make the USA a better country for all, but that is just me.
If we are going to eliminate the death tax why not get rid of the tax on the more modest nest aid that most Americans will hand down to spouses or kids - their IRAs. Instead it is taxed as full earned income.
history
“140 African kids sponsored? Very nice, Gene. I did not know.
I pray for Gene’s soul to be awakened to the truth of Christ. No one is too far gone, and he obviously knows there is a right and a wrong—he is helping the poor in Africa.”
I would imagine he probably has at least twice as many children of his own who will never meet their ‘dad’. Just speculation. Yes! May he awaken to the Truth of Christ!
Simmons’ kids are cool if you ever watched the show “Family Jewels”. They will turn out all-right.
I also believe that Gene Simmons lived in Israel for a number of years and knows what is going on there re the Islamic enemy.
The fact that he is supporting African children is surprising in that it is probably not well known by the public, but it is those people who do “quiet Mitzvahs” (good deeds) who often make the best contributions to a cause.
KISS RULES!
Shannon Tweed isn’t bad either!
The kids who “don’t inherit” often end up in control of the foundations, charitable trusts or other entities set up to avoid tax. They can draw hefty salaries and grant themselves generous expense accounts and other perks as they control their parents’ multi millions.
