Dr. Phil stopped by Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday, April 22, where the two discussed Bruce Jenner's upcoming special with Diane Sawyer, and his gender transition from male to female. "I was wondering if it breaks your heart that Bruce Jenner is going to speak to Diane Sawyer on Friday night instead of coming to your show," Kimmel asked the talk show host.
"It would be boring to talk to me about that," Dr. Phil replied. "First off, I would say, 'Look. If it's what you want to do... do it! What the hell's it matter what anybody else thinks?' That would be my point." While the audience applauded his open response, Dr. Phil figured the remaining hour and 59 minutes would be devoted to why the former Olympian waited this long to transition.
"You're almost 80, what's the point?" Dr. Phil noted. "This is a theoretical exercise, right? I don't know. He's kind of past prime for like... right?"
Kimmel then noted Jenner's illustrious history as an Olympic decathlon gold medalist. "I wouldn't put anything past him," Kimmel said. "I mean, he may be a champion in the bed as well!"
Despite his earlier words, Dr. Phil said he's personally met the Keeping Up With the Kardashians patriarch. "I'll tell you what," he said. "He's a hell of a nice guy." The conversation around Jenner continues to escalate ahead of his buzzed-about sit-down interview with ABC News veteran Sawyer.
CBS' Inside Edition spoke to Jenner's high school sweetheart this week about the news of his transition. "I would never have thought that in a million years, knowing him from high school," his prom date and old girlfriend Michelle Rosenthal noted. "The Bruce I remember was happy-go-lucky. Nice guy, friendly with everybody, popular. The few times Ive seen him on [KUWTK], he just didnt look happy." Jenner's two-hour interview with Sawyer will air this Friday, April 24, at 9 p.m. ET.

S/He’s a mess!
Maybe he thinks he is going to a happier grandmother than he was as a grandfather?
No matter what he envisions for himself at the end of this “process”, that is what he is - somebody’s grandparent.
