Well, since he's a United States Senator from Texas, we pay his salary. Please get your facts straight. If he were a Texas State Senator, then you pay it. Either way, he should NOT have missed the vote.

"He made his voice clear already"...yada yada.

"Why can't they vote electronically"...yada yada. That's not how they work it in that part of the Government. That's a different argument for a different day. Take it up with them before situations like this happens, not during.

You want to hold Ted as morally superior? Fine. Then just let him do his day job. That job is to vote when votes are held.

I'm still voting for him over all the rest of the yahoos because he's about as solid as you can get.

My facts are straight. The Constitutional purpose of a U.S. Senator is to represent the interest of the State from which he hails. It doesn’t matter if you pay his salary or not.

He’s our Senator and he’s doing a fine job. If you’re not from Texas, stuff it. Your opinion has no merit.

If you are from Texas, there’s a reason why every politician in this state would sell their Grandmother to have his endorsement.

The grandstanding of the media is designed to drag one of our guys down over a trivial matter (the cloture vote was the vote that mattered). That some here would use the same argument to prop their horse up over Sen. Cruz is shameful.
