Kabar, he still says illegals can pay a fine and stay. Those illegals are working inside the United States. We have tens of millions of U. S. Citizens out of work.

Since 1990 we have brought in 30 million LEGAL PERMANENT IMMIGRANTS. And we continue to bring in 1.1 million legal immigrants a year. In addition, we import 640,000 guest workers a year. At any one time there are over 2 million guest workers working legally in this country. Do you think that has an impact on jobs and wages? And these legal immigrants receive welfare legally and they can vote legally after being here 5 years. They vote two to one Democrat.

From an article in Politico yesterday:

Conservative critics of Walker pounced, with the Washington Examiner’s Philip Klein calling the latest shift “bizarre” and newsletter writer Ben Domenech describing Walker’s position as “held by none of the other presidential candidates,” including hard-line Sen. Ted Cruz. The Daily Caller’s Matt Lewis called it “a demagogic pander.”

Walker's position scares the crap out of the political and corporate elites. They will do whatever they can to take him out. He is the American Nigel Farage. Immigration can be a winning issue for the GOP if Walker plays it this way. As someone who has been working on this issue for 8 years as a grassroots immigration activist who lobbies on the Hill, I can tell you that this message will resonate with most Americans. A couple of years ago, I wrote this article, Mass Immigration versus the Rights of American Workers I described it as the real civil rights issue of our time.

None of the candidates has said they will round up the lawbreakers and deport them.

I’m sympathetic to your overall vision. We share it.

Kabar, the man said with his own mouth six weeks ago that if illegals pay a fine, they can stay. That has been his policy since 2006/07.

This is a man that now says he thinks of American workers first.

1. He hasn’t changed
2. He is still willing to let 30 million illegals stay
3. His promise to think of U. S. workers first cannot be factual.

He is resoundingly criticized by folks who would object to a Conservative immigration plan, because they want his ruse to be taken serious. John McCain is criticizing him for the same reason. This is a three pronged plan of attack.

1. he lies, says he has a new plan (he doesn’t)
2. McCain jumps in to trash him
3. others jump in to trash him
4. others jump in to praise him

All this with no new plan.

You have to wake up to this. Walker lets it slip in the interview with Wallace. Take the man at his word. Don’t sucker for the lie that he has changed. He tells you that he hasn’t right there.

They know he hasn’t changed, but if he can fool Republican voters, his old policies will rule the day.

I want you to think back. Have I ever attacked a man with a good solid immigration plan? Have I ever trashed someone for speaking out against illegal immigration? Have I ever said they should stay? Have I ever said one thing to make you think I would try to defeat someone who would fix this?
