During his initial debut, Scott Walker seemed to have a shaky grasp of national and international issues. Then again that wasnt surprising since he had been busy with a tough fight in his own state. Before Walker had come out with the usual GOP expert class stuff.
Now Walker seems to be figuring out that the party needs a populist. Thats what he brought to the table in Wisconsin. And hes infuriating all the right people......
The GOP expert class reacted to the heretical notion that American policy should benefit Americans with a thorough freakout.........
Suggesting that immigration policy should be based on the US economy is the extreme right? It used to be the default position.
We get the usual preaching about free market principles by people who dont seem to understand that any hope of some free market utopia will cease to exist the moment that the country has a permanent Democratic majority. For that matter we dont have a free market. We never did. And the idea that America will prosper if we have limitless cheap labor and cheap votes should have been put to bed in the Obama era. You can have cheap labor or cheap votes, you cant have both.
Scott Walker decided to talk past the expert class, the Koch Brothers and the Chamber of Commerce, to the concerns and challenges facing ordinary Americans. If he decides to keep doing that, he may well win. Full article

“faith in scott walker to come out right on immigration” is like asking pastor little ricky santorum (mitt’s buddy) to act like a man ...
.... neither are going to happen ...

I think I found the sign you dropped.
It’s been said, that less is more.
Attack the person when facts cannot support your agenda. - Saul Alinsky
Is it yours?
I stated facts which, obviously, you choose to ignore.
Your position is similar to saying ISIS is not islam despite factual reality.
Walker is a “conservative” just like any of the Bushies.
I’m not going to jump to wack-a-mole clapping.
I’m also not on other candidates’ threads.
But I am going to start pushing back on obvious attempts to distort and hijack Walker threads.
Just accept factual reality of your “Chamber of Commerce” RINO agent.
My parents were members of the Chamber of Commerce. They’re as anti-illegal immigration as anyone you’ll find on FR. Maybe, NF, you prefer someone who works with his Imam?
FAIL
What part of newfreep’s post was inaccurate?
Consider yourself lucky if we get any Republican elected over Hillary. Scott Walker has the best shot at beating her.
The National Chamber of Commerce spends money to defeat anti-Amnesty candidates. They always are pushing for amnesty. They are very much in favor of illegal immigration to bring down wages/salaries for Americans.
Various local Chambers of Commerce have their own policies and might be against
“...the root of our problem is Washington politicians and all who operate within theyre gilded cage...”
You nailed it. And the obvious answer is: Term Limits.
So will it be Walked or Cruz who has the b@lls to alienate the entire Congressional Establishment and take a stand FOR Term Limits.
Whoever it is will be the next PUTUS.
My money’s on Walker.
POTUS sorry:)
time will tell ...
As most Freepers know, the Chamber of Commerce is a HUGE pro-amnesty group pushing for cheap labor. Period!
That Walker held a closed-door meeting speaks volumes as does his Flip-Flopping on his “pathway” amnesty.
Shocking & sad that some Freepers choose Alinsky tactics - attack the messenger when the facts expose Walker’s pro-amnesty position.
