YUM!! Don’t know how I missed eating croissants! We were there on the cheap, though, being a lowly airman and wife [me], and stayed in a very forgettable bed/no breakfast. LOL!

We ate most of our meals at a French cafeteria close to that hotel, and walked a lot. Luckily we were close to the Champs- Elysées. We did take a side trip to Versailles.

Good memories!

Sounds like great memories. I loved visiting the little cafes when we lived in N.Z. more than eating in the fancy restaurants. I’d much rather have the local food experience than the Food Network tour. Expensive vacations and eating out are highly overrated, but then I’ve also lived in a number of 3rd/4th world countries. A bug in your dish is free protein. LOL.
