I think it helps. The polling data suggesting gay marriage has majority support is at odds with all of the states, including liberal states, that have attempted to enact gay marriage bans, only to have them overturned judicially. Some see that discrepancy as evidence of the “social desirability bias” at work, i.e., people lie or waffle with a pollster but vote how they really think because they have privacy, anonymity. Which, if true, would mean the numbers for traditional marriage might be significantly better than they seem.

So perhaps Ted’s honesty will be met with a secret and massive sigh of relief that we actually have somebody in the race who isn’t going to cave to the gayhadis. Remember his game plan. He wants to awaken the sleeping evangelical giant, the folks who have dropped out of the political process because they never get represented. He’s auditioning for them, for us. We do have the sheer numbers, if we could get them all together and motivated on election day. He’s not triangulating. He’s making a double or nothing bet ... on us.

Peace,

SR

Thanks for the insight. Shame on me for fearing that a candidate mention moral absolutes or praise Jesus and God.

It is perhaps illuminating to compare how the “gay” campaign is going on compared with how the racial civil rights movement was conducted.

One is very low class. The other was very high class.

America’s morals have gone into the gutter in more ways than one, that such a thing could ever fly.

While a liberal voter may vote against “gay marriage” (and this term should not be used) on a ballot proposition, he still votes for candidates over and over who are committed to this abomination.

“He’s making a double or nothing bet ... on us.”

Yes. I agree with you.

He is calling out to:

2 Chronicles 7:14
“..and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

If God doesn’t get His necessary response we will know by Ted Cruz not getting the republican nomination and winning, and instead a RINO and democrat winning. This will show that the people of this land have not turned from their wicked ways and they desire more evilness and perversion. God will continue down a destructive path for our nation.

This will not be the fault of Ted Cruz. He is trying to stir the passions of the people back to God. If the people don’t respond it is because of the hardening of their hearts.

Go Cruz Go!!!!!
