Several prominent Republicans are trying to push immigration restrictionist groups to the fringe of the debate by challenging their conservative credentials and attacking their stance on population control, The Washington Post reports.
GOP heavyweights like Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and power broker Grover Norquist are backing an effort to inform conservatives about the history of groups like the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), NumbersUSA and the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS).
(SNIP)
Those organizations are now the leading conservative voices against immigration, both legal and illegal, and have received the endorsement of Republicans like Senators Lamar Smith (R-Texas) and Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.)

The Primary Voters will have the final word on this matter.
Hmmm.... In this match, I will side with the guys & gals from Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), NumbersUSA and the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), over Rubio and Dhimmi traitor Grover Norquist every day of the week. No question about it.
Sadly, that is pretty much the current reality.
I also noticed that W seemed a lot more concerned with Mexico's interests and the status of Mexicans living in the US than he did about any American. The only question is whether he did this on account of some kind of affinity for Mexican immigrants, or whether it was just an "I care" emotional ruse that he and his allies used to bring in more cheap illegal labor for their cronies.
It makes sense and explains why Grover Norquist and his Palestinian wife would want to encourage immigration so that more Muslims can get into the country. He has already done his best to destroy the strength of our military with his tax pledge, and today it has been announced that we are sending ships to intercept Iran’s weapons going to Yemen. How much more will he and his allies do to destroy US strength with a fifth column in our own country.
Glad to see other are on to the Norquist/Islam connection. See my Comment #45. Here is a Google site with many links on his Islamic problem:
Regarding cheap labor. I was at a low cost camp site in Alabama in 2006. Spoke to a Mexican worker (in Spanish) who was working in Alabama painting for post Katrina clean up. He was hired by an Atlanta company and being paid $4 an hour. This was under the national minimum wage. He sent most of the money home. I asked him if he could get that pay in Mexico which country he would rather live in. He said he would like to go home. But he said he really liked the US because here the police are honest. Too bad the businesses and politicians are not.
Push back against the American’s then right? Not surprised.
I push back against the Pro-Lawbreaking wing of the RINO party.
So, Marco and Grover, after you turn America into a Third World Hellhole, then what?
LOL--you nailed it. This "firebrand" is just another sellout. It's always fast when a South Carolina lawyer gets elected...
