Maybe, conservatives are done with dog whistle politics.
After all, NRA chief Wayne LaPierre traded his dog whistle for an air horn at a recent gathering of the gun faithful in Washington, D.C. "I have to tell you," he said, "eight years of one demographically-symbolic president is enough."
Subtle, it was not.
Still, as insults go, it was a rather neatly-crafted twofer. On the one hand, it demeaned the nation's first African-American president and welcomed the day the White House is, well ... de-Negro-fied. On the other hand, it also demeaned the candidate seeking to become the nation's first female-American president and promised to save the White House from, well ... woman-ification. Evidently, LaPierre wants America to get back to normal, "normal" being defined as when the president is white and male.
So out come the air horns, blatting Woman! Woman! Woman! seeking to reduce a former senator and secretary of state to the sum of her chromosomes. Now the race is apparently on to see who will be first to tag the former law professor, senator and secretary of state with which crude, sexist epithet. Oh, the suspense.
The blazing irony is that conservatives have at least two "demographically-symbolic" candidates vying for their favor: Marco Rubio, a Cuban-American senator from Florida and Ted Cruz (does no one else see Joe McCarthy staring back when they look at this guy?), a senator from Texas whose father was born in Cuba.
So the "normal" LaPierre seeks is threatened, regardless....

All the Left ever sees are differences - people as demographic groups - to be pitted against one another, exploited for personal and political gain.
The author should study a bit about the origins of the NRA.....Oh, and some study on the history of Planned Parenthood would be helpful also.
This is Leonard Pitts we’re talking about. He’s made a career out of race-baiting/race-hustling for the left/Democrat plantation. He doesn’t give a damn about his own (Black) people, he just cares about his own bottom line.

The damage these “clowns” have caused to the state of race relations, to the divisive atmosphere we currently live under, nevermind to the Black community as a whole and the destruction of their family unit is incalculable. The Klan at its worst couldn’t accomplish what individuals like Pitts & Co. have done, and to their own people. They should all be indicted and charged with crimes against humanity.
It's also done to smear and scare the faint of heart GOP as Alinsky outlined in "the rules."
Note #6 specifically speaks to the activist base.
Alinsky's Rules for Radicals:

11. “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.” Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught without a solution to the problem.
12. “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions
I think it is too difficult to grasp that for the author without associating this with racism.
I am getting sick and tired of the identity politics mindset. For the leader of the free world, I want the best person we can find. Genitalia and skin color should not be qualification check boxes. The American people should never be divided up by demographics and those who are doing it are living in the past. It is a past when politics pitted one faction against another for political benefit. It is a past when the Alynsky Method took politics to the psych-ops science of manipulating of people. This is the 21st Century and it is time people in this nation wise up, and quit falling for this political technique for manipulating people.

The Left nurtures hate and envy in people who haven’t succeeded in life. They’re susceptible and easily pushed toward the message that someone else should own responsibility for their condition.
To build this army the Left must tear people down emotionally and financially.

Every staement about Obamas Presideny is based soley on the color of his skin ( not the fact he is ignorant, incompetent and Anti-American) and every statement against Hillary Clinton is because she is a female (not because she is a criminal a liar and incompetent)..
So here we go 2 years of campainging against us the American people...................
